GM Stock Price Today

General Motors' stock price jumped almost eight percent in opening trade today, marking the return of GM to Wall Street.

GM's share price at 33 dollars per share on Wednesday, but they traded almost eight percent higher at 35.06 dollars around 1450 GMT.

GM's IPO set to raise 20.1 billion dollars, which would reduce the government stake in the company and pay back around almost 50 billion dollar taxpayer bailout that saved GM from destruction.
