Cancer, A New Threat For Diabetics

Uncontrolled diabetes can be a source of other diseases. The doctors even warn of cancer as a new threat for people with diabetes.

A study found women with diabetes are at risk of 8% higher overall cancer. In addition, the risk of death from cancer was higher in of diabetics.

Research conducted by Gabriel Lai, of the U.S. National Cancer Institute was conducted over 11 years to 295,287 men and 199,665 women in America. At the end of the study found the risk of cancer in diabetic patients is much higher than healthy people.

Although diabetes can not be cured, but in fact, a disease characterized by high blood sugar levels are easily controlled. If treatment and lifestyle changes implemented with discipline, frightening complication will not happen.
