NATO to Not Stop Attacks on Libya

Italian request to NATO to stop join attacks to Libya to make space for humanitarian relief efforts are ignored altogether by the Nato.

Nato Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, said via video on their official website that NATO would continue its attacks. Rasmussen argued that if the attack is stopped, there will be many more civilian victims.

Italy is Libya's former colonial power, played a crucial role in the Nato-led air operation against the regime of Muammar Gaddafi. Spaghetti country provides bases for the aircraft.
