Kate Winslet Wins Emmy Awards 2011

Kate Winslet won the Best Artist in drama mini-series from Emmy Awards 2011. Winslet won the award for her role in the drama series "Mildred Pierce".

Oscar-winning star plays a woman who divorced widows who survive by opening a restaurant, to avoid depressed. Meanwhile, actor Guy Pearce was awarded as best actor.

In a short speech, Winslet reveals not think will win and thanked her mother. The success of Winslet complements triumph for the British entertainment world. British drama series "Downton Abbey" won the award for Best Drama Mini Series.

Actress Maggie Smith won awards as Best Supporting Actress and playwright British writer Julian Fellowes won the Best Mini Series.

Brian Percival, Best Director for the drama "Downton Abbey", which said the drama tells of a family aristocrat, Crawley, who lives with his family name proud.
