Audi is More in Demand in China Than in Their Home Country

Automotive Company from Germany, Audi, stated that more vehicles sold in China than in its home country in 2011. Audi estimates the coming years acceleration of sales in China will be higher.

Audi, a subsidiary of Volkswagen, sold 313,036 vehicles in China in 2011. "China is now Audi's largest single market," said company representative that quoted by AFP.

More than 80 percent of those vehicles are assembled in China, says Audi. They will build a new factory in Foshan, south China, which will be operational from 2013 with a capacity of 200 thousand vehicles per year.

This year they are targeting sales of 250 thousand units in Germany.
