Samsung Apps Has Been Serving 100 Million Times Application Downloads

There are already 100 million applications have been downloaded from Samsung Electronics mobile application store in less than a year after its release. Samsung Apps opened in June 2010 in conjunction with the launch of the Samsung smartphone Wave (GT-S8500), the first smartphone with Samsung Bada OS.

This company makes the Samsung web site Apps to offer software applications for TV and mobile devices such as artificial Samsung applications Facebook and Twitter. There has been downloaded 10 million times three months after the website was launched and 100 million in 10 months. More than 13,000 title applications are now available at the store this Samsung.

The highest number of downloads in France, followed by Germany and Spain. Three European countries account for 40 percent of all downloads to the web application stores. Samsung Apps itself is available in 120 countries.

Apple App Store, by comparison, has seen more than 10 billion downloads since it opened July 8, 2008, for devices including iPad, iPhone and iPod. There were 350,000 applications and 65,000 iPad applications. iPhone is currently available at the Apple store AppStore.
