Dirk Nowitzki became the star of "Dallas Mavericks" after contributing 28 points and 14 rebounds in the first semifinal game of the NBA's western region against the Los Angeles Lakers. Mavericks 96-94 win over the defending champion.
The game was tight with one another romp stained score. In the first quarter, guest team ahead by 25-23. In the second quarter, the home team replied with pretty much excess score, 30-19.
In the third quarter, Dallas back ahead by 27-25. In the final quarter, Dallas succeeded increase the advantage to 25-16 points.
Kobe Bryant scored 21 of 36 points at the second half, but then she dropped while trying to receive feedback from Pau Gasol. In this fight, Bryant missed a three-point shots before the bell rang.
Gasol scored 15 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. The second match will be held again at the Staples Center.
