Barcelona striker Lionel Messi says win Champions League 2011 is great achievement, but it will not make his team lose motivation to win and clinch the title.
Barcelona became champions after beating Manchester United 3-1 at Wembley Stadium, Saturday, May 28 local time. Barcelona goal was created by Pedro (27), Messi (54), and David Villa (69), while Manchester United's goal was created by Wayne Rooney (34).
Messi was crowned as the best player in the game because his goal brought Barcelona back "the upper hand" and finally won the game. With one goal, Messi is also crowned as the Champions League top scorer 2010-2011 season with 12 goals achievement. This is the third title in the last three seasons.
Messi said that this final match will be remembered. What has been done by his team is great as if not realize what has been achieved. Messi and his team want to continue to win many champion.
Messi added that currently they are thinking about celebrating this great victory on Sunday. Next they will focus again for next season.
