Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari returned to his country, two weeks after a trip to Dubai for medical treatment that provoked speculation that he would soon resign.
Zardari's return is expected to quell speculation about his future.
Sindh Provincial Minister Manzoor Hasan said the plane carrying Zardari landed at the military base in Karachi after midnight.
